Die Psychodrama-Psychotherapie mit Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen im forensischen Kontext
Die Männerberatung Wien und das Institut für forensische Therapie bieten seit vielen Jahren Psychodrama-Psychotherapie im Strafvollzug an. Viele Grundsätze dieser Arbeit wurden bereits von Moreno selbst in seiner Arbeit im Gefängnis Sing Sing angewendet, seither wurden die Konzepte zur forensischen Psychotherapie weiter ausgearbeitet. Psychotherapie im Zwangskontext mit Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen stellt hohe Anforderungen an Psychotherapeut*innen. Der Beziehungsaufbau, die Erwärmung und die Therapiemotivation benötigen regelmäßig deutlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit als in anderen Therapieprozessen. Darüber hinaus spielen traumatherapeutische und interkulturelle Aspekte häufig eine große Rolle. Diesen Herausforderungen der forensischen Jugendarbeit möchten wir uns in unserem Workshop, je nach Wünschen der Teilnehmer*innen, aus theoretischer und praktischer Sicht nähern.
Psychodrama Psychotherapy with Adolescents and Young Adults in a Forensic Context
The Men’s Counseling Center Vienna and the Institute for Forensic Therapy have been offering psychodrama psychotherapy in correctional facilities for many years. Many of the principles of this work were already applied by Moreno himself during his work at Sing Sing prison, and since then, concepts for forensic psychotherapy have been further developed. Psychotherapy in a compulsory context with adolescents and young adults places high demands on psychotherapists. Building a therapeutic relationship, establishing rapport, and motivating therapy often require significantly more attention than in other therapeutic processes. Additionally, trauma-related and intercultural aspects frequently play a significant role. In our workshop, we aim to address the challenges of forensic youth work from both theoretical and practical perspectives, depending on the preferences of the participants.
