Morenos Werk aus theoretischer Sicht – Vermächtnis und Herausforderung
Moreno war ein Visionär. Seine Konzepte – mehr Entwürfe als ausgearbeitete Theorien – sind auch heute noch von wegweisender Aktualität. Besonders ihre praktisch-methodische Umsetzung war bahnbrechend. Einzelne Elemente wurden schon früh – von unterschiedlichsten Verfahren aus dem Kontext gerissen – als Versatzstücke kopiert. Am Beispiel ausgewählter Konzepte zeigt der Vortrag Umrisse der theoretisch-praktischen Vision auf, die aus meiner Sicht den Kern von Morenos Vermächtnis ausmacht. Durchaus auch kritisch hinterfragend wird skizzenhaft aufgezeigt, wo Weiterentwicklungen in der Nachfolge Morenos notwendig waren und auch zukünftig sein werden.
Moreno’s Work from a Theoretical Perspective – Legacy and Challenge
Moreno was a visionary. His concepts – more like drafts than fully developed theories – remain remarkably relevant today. Their practical and methodological implementation, in particular, was groundbreaking. Individual elements were early on borrowed and copied by various approaches outside of his context. Using selected concepts as examples, this presentation outlines the theoretical and practical vision that, in my view, constitutes the core of Moreno’s legacy. It also offers a critical examination, sketching where developments in the wake of Moreno have been necessary and will continue to be so in the future.

Ich bin Viele (Rollen) – was hält mich / uns zusammen?
Nach Moreno entsteht das Selbst aus Rollen. Unser Selbst, das Eine, entsteht danach durch Integration der Vielen. Jeder von uns ist eine „Einheit in Vielfalt“. Was verbindet die Vielen, die Rollen? Wie können wir uns als Einheit fühlen, auch wenn wir Viele sind? Moreno spricht sehr allgemein von operational links. Auch in der aktuellen Literatur gibt es meines Wissens keine genaueren Überlegungen dazu, wie wir „verlinkt“ werden.
Im Workshop werden – entwicklungspsychologisch begründet – eine Reihe denkbarer links (genauer: integrativer Mechanismen) vorgestellt. Theoriegeleitet soll erlebbar werden, wie diese Mechanismen wirken. Damit werden erste Schritte getan, um – auch für die konkrete therapeutische Arbeit bedeutsame – Antworten auf die benannten Fragen zu finden.
„I Am Many (Roles) – What Holds Me/Us Together?“
According to Moreno, the self emerges from roles. Our self, as one entity, is formed through the integration of the many. Each of us is a „unity in diversity.“ What connects the many roles? How can we feel like a unity even when we are many? Moreno speaks in very general terms of „operational links.“ To the best of my knowledge, there are no precise considerations in current literature on how we are „linked“ in this context.
In the workshop, developmentally grounded concepts of possible links (more precisely, integrative mechanisms) will be introduced. Guided by theory, participants will experience how these mechanisms work. These initial steps aim to find answers to the questions posed, which are also relevant to concrete therapeutic work.
