Who shall survive 2.0
Das Hauptwerk von J. L. Moreno war „Who shall survive?“. In diesem Buch reflektiert Moreno, durch Theorie und Forschung, über die notwendigen Bedingungen für das Überleben der Menschheit. Moreno war ein Augenzeuge des Ersten Weltkriegs, der Spanischen Grippe, des Zustroms von Flüchtlingen, der Wirtschaftskrise und politischer sowie religiöser Konflikte. Er kommt zu dem Schluss, dass wir eine integrierte Koordination zwischen Wissenschaft und dem benötigen, was er „Religion“ nannte, was in Wirklichkeit sein Konzept von „echten Begegnungen mit uns selbst, innerhalb der Familien, der Gemeinschaften, der Nationen und in einem Wort dem gesamten Kosmos“ ist.
Als Moreno starb, erkannte er, dass er seine Ziele im zwanzigsten Jahrhundert nicht erreicht hatte (zu selbstzentriert und narzisstisch), prophezeite jedoch, dass das einundzwanzigste Jahrhundert ihm gehören würde (Soziatrie, Soziometrie, Soziodrama und Psychodrama). In diesem Kontext unseres gegenwärtigen schwierigen und fragilen Weltgleichgewichts wird diese Konferenz angeboten. Eine notwendige Reflexion über die Bedingungen für das Überleben unserer Welt.
Die Konferenz wird in zwei Teilen präsentiert: 1) Morenos Erbe; die berühmte Präsentation am 1. April 1921 im Komödienhaus; die Geschichte von Barbara; die Veröffentlichung von „The Theatre of Spontaneity“, die Einwanderung in die USA… alles führt zur Veröffentlichung von „Wer soll überleben?“. 2) Bedingungen für das Überleben im einundzwanzigsten Jahrhundert unter Verwendung von Morenos Perspektiven.
Eine Frage-und-Antwort-Runde wird auf die Hauptpräsentation folgen.
Who shall survive 2.0
The main book of J. L. Moreno was «Who shall survive ?». In this book, Moreno reflects , through theory and research, on the necessary conditions for the humanity to survive. Moreno was a first hand witness to the First World War, to the Spanish flue, to the flux of refugies, to the economic crisis, to political and religeous conflicts. He concludes that we need a integrated coordination between science and what he called «religion», which is in fact his concept of «genuine encouters with ourselves, within the families, the communities, the nations and in one word the «whole cosmos».
When he died, Moreno recognized that he failed to achieved his objectives in the twentieth cetury (to self-centered and narcissistic), but predicted that the twenty-first century would belong to him (sociatry, sociometry, sociodrama and psychodrama). It is in the context of our actual difficult and fragile world equilibrium that this conference is offered. A necessary reflection on the conditions for our world to survive.
The conference will be presented in two parts :1) Moreno’s heritage; the famous presentation on April 1st 1921 in the Komedian House ; the story of Barbara ; the publication of The Theatre of Spontaneity, the immigration to USA… all leading to the publication of Who Shall Survive ? 2) Conditions for survival in the twenty-first century using Moreno’s perspectives.
A period of questions will follow the main presentation.
